6-year-old Michael: Daddy, are Jesus and God the same person or two different persons?
Daddy: Yes and Yes.
Michael: How is that possible?
Daddy: There is only one God. The Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons, but they are One. And there is only One God.
Michael: I really don’t get it.
Daddy: Me neither. But we do not have to understand it. We just have to believe it!
Such an inquisitive mind! A future theologian, maybe. Start thinking of a Seminary: Trinity? Westminster? Wheaton? Dallas? (And I’d rather recommend Bob Jones or… Oral Roberts than Fuller or Biola 🙂 )
Kidding aside – my daughter was accepted at Master’s with the maximum scholarship they could offer… but I still had to come up with ten grand a year… so, I said ‘no’ – but now I kind of regret it.
Hopefully she can still go if you change your mind or she can get some loans…
Ten grand a year is pretty standard these days for any education even with scholarship… Actually ten grand is low…
Remember 10 grand now is not the same ten grand from 10-20 years ago…
