In a welcomed move by common sense Americans and citizens of the world, the American College of Pediatricians (ACP) delivered a statement that embarrasses the LGBT and the Obama Administration agendas.
Gender dysphoria and gender identity disorder are actual DSM-V psychiatric diagnosis which should require counseling and treatment. The ACP recognizes this along with the chaos created by mixing boys and girls in locker rooms throughout public schools.
Here is the stern statement from the ACP:
The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex. Facts – not ideology – determine reality.
1. Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: “XY” and “XX” are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder. The norm for human design is to be conceived either male or female. Human sexuality is binary by design with the obvious purpose being the reproduction and flourishing of our species. This principle is self-evident. The exceedingly rare disorders of sex development (DSDs), including but not limited to testicular feminization and congenital adrenal hyperplasia, are all medically identifiable deviations from the sexual binary norm, and are rightly recognized as disorders of human design. Individuals with DSDs do not constitute a third sex.1
2. No one is born with a gender. Everyone is born with a biological sex. Gender (an awareness and sense of oneself as male or female) is a sociological and psychological concept; not an objective biological one. No one is born with an awareness of themselves as male or female; this awareness develops over time and, like all developmental processes, may be derailed by a child’s subjective perceptions, relationships, and adverse experiences from infancy forward. People who identify as “feeling like the opposite sex” or “somewhere in between” do not comprise a third sex. They remain biological men or biological women.
3. A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking. When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such. These children suffer from gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria (GD), formerly listed as Gender Identity Disorder (GID), is a recognized mental disorder in the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association (DSM-V). The psychodynamic and social learning theories of GD/GID have never been disproved.
4. Puberty is not a disease and puberty-blocking hormones can be dangerous. Reversible or not, puberty- blocking hormones induce a state of disease – the absence of puberty – and inhibit growth and fertility in a previously biologically healthy child.
5. According to the DSM-V, as many as 98% of gender confused boys and 88% of gender confused girls eventually accept their biological sex after naturally passing through puberty.
6. Children who use puberty blockers to impersonate the opposite sex will require cross-sex hormones in late adolescence. Cross-sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen) are associated with dangerous health risks including but not limited to high blood pressure, blood clots, stroke and cancer.
7. Rates of suicide are twenty times greater among adults who use cross-sex hormones and undergo sex reassignment surgery, even in Sweden which is among the most LGBQT – affirming countries. What compassionate and reasonable person would condemn young children to this fate knowing that after puberty as many as 88% of girls and 98% of boys will eventually accept reality and achieve a state of mental and physical health?
8. Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse. Endorsing gender discordance as normal via public education and legal policies will confuse children and parents, leading more children to present to “gender clinics” where they will be given puberty-blocking drugs. This, in turn, virtually ensures that they will “choose” a lifetime of carcinogenic and otherwise toxic cross-sex hormones, and likely consider unnecessary surgical mutilation of their healthy body parts as young adults.
YYYEEEESSSSSSSSS! Finally some sense in all the nonsense!!! Lord let this article ring throughout the world !!!
I know a Christian who transitionsed from male to female. I am waiting to ask them “has the gospel (word of God) changed?”
It is a good question, Delight. The Bible only speaks of God making a male and a female. Homosexuality is covered in the Bible but i know of no place that deals with changing one’s sex. There are so many places in scripture that discuss sinful sexual practices. The Bible also is clear that God created sexual relations. As it is pleasurable along with providing procreation in the proper Biblical context, it is also obvious that temptation to sexual sin is a possibility. If a female who feels like a male walks into a male bathroom in grades 7-12 there will be problems guaranteed. The possibilities of many types of problems would increase dramatically if the person you know, walks into a high school bathroom because of the sex change in spite of the fact that they call them self a Christian. I’m not being judgmental with this last scenario. It is only the true reality.
In a way, I’m glad that Target made the “bold” move they did. Since the idea was praised in some places in our country, I think it emboldened Mr. Obama to make his “bold” effort.
Anyone who thinks about such a policy must think of these questions among so many others that could be asked:
How confused are our school children going to be when some adult has to explain to them that an opinion about their sex can allow them into any bathroom. How is this policy to be monitored? Who decides what the limits are if any? Who gets to write the curriculum that teaches the children about bathroom choices? And on, and on, and on…
I have 5th graders who have problems with simple multiplication. Has the President lost all common sense? Don’t all answer that at once, we’ve had enough earthquakes lately.
I applaud this statement by the American College of Pediatricians (ACP). It may not be politically correct but it is truth, much needed in today’s world.
Thanks for sharing, Delight.
Your whole post made so much sense, right up until the last sentence. NOTHING “politically correct” is truth. That’s the whole point!
Hi Sue,
I am curious about your comment. You used the word “until” in your statement making it sound like you disagree with my statement. I stated, ” It may not be politically correct but it is truth. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Changing gender in Norway gets easier:
http://www.thelocal.no/20160515/tick-here-please-changing-gender-in-norway-gets-easier
However, I’m not sure how policy they have for children regarding this matter.
About the status in Norway, which Octavian mentions: There was some news a little while ago. I seem to remember it correctly, cf the articles below. It is to be possible for a child to change gender in the national register (also determining the gender given on a passport) with the parents’ consent, when he/she was six, that is the age when they start school here, and without any diagnosis or medical treatment.
At the age of 16 the person him-/herself can decide the legal gender, again without any diagnosis or medical treatment or operations, likewise change name.

Do you remember the awful story about the case in America in which psychologist John Money claimed it proved that gender was a purely psychological matter?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Reimer
Did the guy have to be a Reimer? Well, mine has an s on the end of it. Makes me feel a bit better, Marianne. BTW..I’d never heard this story.
A very informative program about the Reimer brothers was on tv more than ten years ago. The twin brother committed suicide too, unfortunately (the wikipedia article says he was schizophrenic). I remember the tv program said it hit him hard to be told, at last, that the one he had thought was his sister, was in reality a brother, who had been harmed and hurt. Maybe he felt that he had not shown enough solidarity, love or something.
I should perhaps have expressed myself more clearly: I do not doubt that people have or develop a psychological feeling of what gender / sex they are. But some of the psycho-babblers insist that it is purely a social matter – that the attitudes of people in society around you just behave in a certain way and SAY that you belong to one gender, and that is all that determines how you yourself feel, in other words that gender is a “social construction”. So Money did the entire Reimer family a lot of harm.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Money
If you regret the victim’s name, Chris, I for my part see that Money came from New Zealand. Aha, an intellectual climate of easy, unthinking collectivism at the time. That is the country where I got my first schooling in anthropology. It was extremely behavioristic at the time, just this idiocy of believing and preaching that humans can be “formed” in any way whatsoever. EXCEPT: not formed intelligently by what single individuals bring of reasoned argument and experience. Typical example: trying to explain the existence of religion, and the preaching of religious leaders, as solely the product of social forces. Same kind of thinking as in communism: Only the “masses” have an influence. So Christ, Mohammed, Luther, Buddha – – the social scientists at the universities in NZ at the time (and no doubt in many other countries, certainly in Norway), would fervently deny that these people made an impact just as single individuals, and that they had any kind of free will to preach as they did and not in other ways.
Well, in a preface to a good textbook I once read about Muhammed (when I studied History of Religion, several years after NZ), the author Geo Widengren took up this question of what influences history, and said something like, “No understanding is gained by imagining the stage of history as empty of individuals.”
I’ve often wondered why you are so disliked by those who come here “representing” the CPS in Norway. This comment helps me to understand their disdain, Marianne. You understand the root of this problem. For me the root has always been sin. You are helping me to understand what the nature of this sin is.
“Typical example: trying to explain the existence of religion, and the preaching of religious leaders, as solely the product of social forces. Same kind of thinking as in communism: Only the “masses” have an influence. So Christ, Mohammed, Luther, Buddha – – the social scientists at the universities in NZ at the time (and no doubt in many other countries, certainly in Norway), would fervently deny that these people made an impact just as single individuals, and that they had any kind of free will to preach as they did and not in other ways.”
The teachings of Christ was a product of social forces? Besides being very Unchristian, It is a way of discrediting all belief systems that have some kind of moral teachings. Can you tell me where these folks believe that morals come from, Marianne? I think I know the answer already but I’m sure you know.
“teachings were”
Chris: “Can you tell me where these folks believe that morals come from, Marianne? I think I know the answer already but I’m sure you know.”
Actually not quite! But I don’t know if we are perhaps thinking in different directions.
In the kind of anthropology I remember from the 1960s, it was all about “social function”. And, mind you, the admired professor of the subject was a Malinowskian functionalist to his fingertips and further, sentral tenet being a “theory of needs”. Any question of where something came from would probably be answered by referring to its ahistorical place! And more or less everything was “explained” as being straight methods of fulfilling these more or less well-defined “needs”. Questions, for essays and seminars, like “What is religion?” and “Does religion have a social function?” were often rhetorical; they wanted like the same answer to both, something like “Religion is beliefs which contribute to social cohesion”. Not that professor Piddington’s textbook wasn’t very good and interesting in several ways – it was. The theories of scholars does not necessarily characterise all the work they do.
Long and complex historical lines seem often to be of scant interest to behaviorists. They had certainly read Émile Durkheim (hehe, I have too),
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Émile_Durkheim
and much sociological theory from the 19th century and onwards tended to be deterministic and far too SIMPLE. It is tempting and feels so “great” to (pretend to) be an oracle who knows the “deep” causes and the future effects of everything. I may have written before that in our days the people who seem to have really interesting things to say about free will are often mathematicians / computer scientists. You may not agree with them, but they have “witnessed” how, when complex systems (like computers) emerge / develop, they tend to become unpredictable. So then it becomes a question of what determinism is. I remember a comment from a friend when we were talking of a Norwegian novel from 1886, written by very radical Hans Jæger, who tried to portray his characters as sadly “determined” by a sick society in everything they did. My friend said: “Jæger has actually described them more realistically than he intended. These jokers don’t SEEM all that automatically steered by social conditions. Rather, one suspects they would tend to spend a lot of time in horisontal position on the sofa whatever the social conditions around them.”

We in Europe has been in a change over the last decades. Our Chrisitan values are thrown more or less completely away – and we are now in a situation like the “something else” movement try to lead – to a situation where we no longer have no common values or even know what they should have been. We are in a situation where we are invaded by travellers that bring with them values and they for certain know what to front after arrival – this video also touches the gender indentification an the ongoing attack on familiy as an institution for children and future
This fits very well with the comment Marianne has made above, Knut. So why do you dislike her so much?
This video not only explains why a man I have met online is soon going on a hunger strike in London, it is differentiating between “Western” and “Non-Western” values. So what makes, or made the West in the cases mentioned here, different from the “Non-Western” values described here.
The only answer I can think of is Christianity. The end of the video asks for a solution. There is only one solution. The solution is a turn back to the One who stated: “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” Unless this happens, and as my pastor has said: “We are no longer at a crossroads; we need to make a U-turn,” the world is ripe for an anti-Christ.
Because of recent videos you have posted, Knut, I think you have a lack of understanding of Christianity. You claim to be a Christian and yet you call someone who holds to Western values as they used to be, Mrs. M.
So, which side are you on, Knut? Are you with those who are villains in this video, or will you discover the only thing that can save us: true Christianity? This is the question you should be asking yourself.
The summary of this video:
If we don’t find a moral foothold somewhere, we are doomed.
My question: Where do we find that moral foothold if not in God’s Word?
There was a very similar time in human history. You can use around 1,000 B.C. as a reference point.
The times we are headed for can be described well by the last verse in the book of Judges:
“In those days there was no king in Israel; EVERYONE DID WHAT WAS RIGHT IN HIS OWN EYES.” (the caps are mine for emphasis)
Some ask why the book of Judges is even included in the Bible.
Halley’s Handbook gives the easy answer:
“It is simple history. God had founded a nation for the purpose of paving the way for the coming of a redeemer for the human race. God was determined to maintain that nation. And in spite of its idolatry and wickedness, God did maintain it. If it hadn’t been for such leaders as the Judges (as fallibly human as they were), and if God had not miraculously intervened in time of crisis, Israel would have been exterminated.”
What happened next? The same thing that will happen someday here on Earth. Men will choose a king to rule over them in spite of God’s wishes. He will be a wonder to the people at first. He will be similar to the first King that Israel wanted in spite of God’s wishes. Our modern king to come will have an ending like Saul’s. Saul eventually lost all personal contact with God and had to resort to using a medium for his purposes. Most of you are probably aware of the Biblical warnings about doing such a thing.
The man who will come to “save the world” will have an ending similar to Saul’s. But in the end, all of Israel will be saved.
I know this is a cliche, but it must be used here:
History has a way or repeating itself.
Europe is in rapid change. My opinion is that Europe crossed the line of no return in 2015. Yes – both you and I can say out load to the people – repent, the end is near, but for Western ears this is now believing in tales and out of date religion – and – religion is dangerous and the root of all evil.
At the same time Europe is invaded by people the Western society know believe in their prophet and his lawmaking for a unchangeable islamic society – so much that they are willing to both die for their belief and kill for it.
Although you don’t need to look hard to find evidence of the consequences following this religion our Western leaders say “Welcome” and show respect to their killing religion as our democracies continue to pave way for more Christians to loose their faith and prevent the transfer of faith between generations. Most children in Norway have grown up without closeness to true Christians.
I consider myself a true Christian living in a nation that like the rest of Europe is in a change for the coming of darkness ruled by a democracy that don’t has the tool to hinder what’s coming. The true Christians will be less, persecuted and killed – the beheaders are already among us.
This is a video from Sweden – I have always consider Sweden more socialist than Norway – we have some coservative stubbornness the swedes lack – the are more sheep following the wrong message – but now – too late – they show restistance like in this meeting where a local society is invited to ask questions about a huge reception center for asylants – this is how democracy works in Sweden
The pope is paving way for interfaith – telling us that there ain’t no differences between Chistianity and islam – and we all know that Jesus is the obvious difference and that true Christians never will take away Him as the way, the Truth and the light.
You have responded as I thought you would on these topics and I mostly agree. However you didn’t respond to my question about Marianne. Why do you dislike her so much?
VG – one of our main newspapers – have today a story where a 23 year old Chechen is allowed prayer breaks in his coming trial. Not even “our” most famous muslim on trial – Mullah Krekar – asked for prayer breaks. The Norwegian court has submitted to islam and editor in the Christian newspaper Dagen says this is unnatural and provocative.
http://www.vg.no/nyheter/innenriks/krim/vebjoern-selbekk-om-boennepauser-i-retten-provoserende-og-unaturlig/a/23686230/
Islam is on the rise for sure, Knut. You still haven’t answered my question about Marianne.
Maybe it’s truth for Marianne – but for me it isn’t. She is an individual with an opinion and she have read some files and think HER thoughts about the CPS as a whole. She has opinions and are a opinionmaker in a very small group of chronic CPS haters and some parents that have lost their legal cases and regard themselves as victims. I look at this group of anti-CPS as divided into two – one who are have no personal experience with the CPS, but for some reasons that I regard as mixed have tried to be spokesmen for the other group – the more real victims .. and …”victims” – we don’t know because we don’t know more than they tell us – in short – I dislike Marianne as a spokesman for the truth about the work done by the CPS in Norway. Truth is for me a high valued standard and the way Marianne does it she is misguiding you who don’t have a clue of knowledge about Norway, Norwegians and the CPS.
Knut, Marianne has given 1,000% more documentation than you have here. You provide no documentation, You don’t answer many questions except to document laws that aren’t followed. I’m sure if I asked Marianne right now to give me a case where your laws have been broken by the CPS she could give me several. I trust here way more than I trust you.
“her”
As far as being a Christian, anyone who can be fooled by Bill Johnson and his party can be fooled by Barnevernet.
I am a follower of Christ – not people – they are just humans with their individual knowledge and experience. I have also low or none interest of using my Christian daily life to find wrongs with other Christians and I think Bill is heading for an address in heaven.
I will not judge the man’s soul, Knut, as only God can do that. He teaches a Jesus that is not found in scripture. That not only puts himself but all of those he is leading astray in peril.
You are free to choose whatever “gospel” you want to listen to and follow, Chris – you are responsible for your actions – I’m for mine.
This is the most truthful thing you have written thus far, Knut.
Even though it is not exactly theologically correct.
Reblogged this on ANA TATAR ANDRAS.

Reblogged this on Wings of the Wind and commented:
It is a “God thing” that we have a Christian Doctor at the helm of such a blog. I appreciate the knowledge that Delight has shared here. You won’t see this information in the mainstream news for a reason.
Political correctness is the “leading star” in the Western society. This video is from Sweden and the female reporter asks students of their reactions if she told them that she was a man – a Japanese – a cat – 2 meter high – 7 years old – and the easiest part to get both respect and support was when she told them that she was a man.
In Norway we so far have public toilets for men – women – the handicapped and nusery rooms. Now the University in Bergen is about to change their toilets to unisex. Yes, I had my thoughts when I saw the unisex toilet in the series “Ally McBeal” some decades ago.
I understood this change of public toilet to come from the very, very low percentage of students who don’t regard themselves as either – or are men in the head, but not in the body – or still haven’t made up their mind regarding this fundamental question.
How many students we find in this group we don’t know, but from 2017 all students go to the same restroom – if the men’s urinal still will be kept I don’t know.
In Norway the political correctness party no. 1 is Miljøpartiet de grønne – “The environtparty the green”. They use the wording “hen” in their political documents – according to them we have three sexes – he, she and hen – the same “hen” is the reason for turning around the public toilet.
In the second paragraph in this article from the green you find the word “hen”
https://www.mdg.no/nyheter/mer-apenhet-om-produksjonen/
But – they have learned from Sweden – they are ready with their “Hen-toilets”
http://www.svt.se/nyheter/lokalt/uppsala/hen-toalett-invig-pa-uppsala-universitet
In some kindergardens the children are not allowed to say “he” or “she” – they are all regarded as “hen”.
Feminism, new age and everything political correct will possibly make this party a choice for students and others who regard themselves in opposition to a society with borders – this party has also made some thoughts about the CPS as a negative factor in their version of a society.
There is a video about a Norwegian girl who seriously believes that she is a cat who is trapped in a human body….. I wonder what kind of toilet they have to offer her….. There seems to be lots of confused people nowadays…..
That is a serious psychiatric disorder. As is gender identity disorder.
What’s your opinion? This is a made case/example and has nothing to do with the CPS: A boy live with his single parent and have from the age 6 played with dolls. He is now in the third grade and the mother has been worried for a long time. She has spoken with the school nurse that tell her to relax – this may stop without any interfering. She have spoken with psychologist who tell her that he has no problem, but maybe she has. The boy is now 9 and the school notice that he don’t play football with the other boys. He is on his way to get isolated or isolate himself. In the kindergarden he played with both girls and boys – in school it’s more boy with boy and girl with girl. The school and the parent wonder if the child psychiatry might help and they speak with the nurse. She thinks they might do more harm than good – that the boy will think it’s something wrong with him. The mother has tried to prevent this interest of playing with dolls – the boy tell her that it’s not the doll that interest him – it’s the clothes and especially the dresses.
If this was your boy – what would you do? And – do you think that this boy is on his way to get a gender identity disorder or that he already has got it?
Knut, I would have to refer back to the ACP statement I posted a few days ago. There is a fair amount of confusion and play in early childhood, and social pressure can certainly influence gender behavior. In most situations, these kids were affected in some extrinsic way by family, or by some other powerful influence in their life. That is why it is so important for a child to have a biblical based world view of mom and dad in a harmonious relationship.
The child should not be allowed to change his sex. He can make up his mind when he is an adult. The ACP states that many of these kids will come around to their biological gender with time.
I don`t think the mother should worry. There are boys who love to play with dolls and girls who love to play with cars in the same way some women choose typical man vocations and vice versa. I don`t think that this boy is on his way to get a gender identity disorder on the basis of what you describe here, Knut. But I think it would be good for him if he had some contact with a male since he is only living with his mother. If he can`t have contact with his biological father, he could maybe do things with his grandfather or some other trustworthy grown up man.He doesn`t need to play football. The boy probably has other interests than playing with dolls.
My grandfather used to stitch beautiful pictures besides building boats(which was his occupation). My father worked for a while in factory making handmade shirts for men when he was young. He became a teacher.
If the boy is interested in clothes and dresses, I think that is fine. Maybe his interest in this field will continue and maybe it won`t.
If he is isolating himself,he probably needs help to find friends. It doesn`t matter if those friends are girls or boys.
I am not an expert in this field. But these are my thoughts after thinking it through.
